The Planning Parameters Exceptions allows the user to specify exceptions to the Planning Parameters that are setup in relation to the different ABC Classifications. The exceptions are created by entering filters along with the Planning Parameters.

Exceptions can be created with filters on the following fields: Item No., Location Code, Amount and Transaction Classification, Replenishment System, Vendor No., Item Category Code, Low-Level Code, Last Usage Date.
Along with these filters are a the following columns: No., Description, Start Date, End Date and the same Planning Parameters as described in Planning Parameters section. In addition to this it is also possible to setup the Safety Stock Quantity, Reorder Point, Reorder Quantity, Maximum Inventory, Rescheduling Period, Overflow Level and Time Bucket as absolute values (like on the Item/SKU).
The Planning Parameters Exceptions are applied one by one from the top down. This means that if an Item/SKU falls within the filters of several exceptions then the last exception will be applied. Examples of how to use the Planning Parameters Exceptions are found in examples section.
