The Planning Parameter Worksheet is a tool developed to have the system calculating and suggesting the planning parameters used on the Item Card and Stockkeeping Unit Card (SKU).
The overall concept of the tool is that the items are classified according to its importance and parameters for each of the classification form a basis for suggesting how to setup the replenishment for the items. The importance is determined by a double ABC classification (amount and number of transactions) and the parameters are calculated based on data such as demand during the lead times, service factors, etc..
This document gives a step by step walkthrough of the functionality and ends with some examples of how the tool can be used.
